Pros & Cons
Pros
Plastic receptacle works with most nib types. Many nibs fit. All my nids fit.
The cap actually posts (chunks onto the back end), which i wasn't expecting! I wish the cap held more securely onto the pen, bit at least it has one) it has comfortable grip cushion.
I have carpal tunnel, so anything that eases the strain is excellent. Very nice amount of weight, just a little heavier than the plastic pens.
Am totally a novice in calligraphy. They’re typically fine japanese wood, covered in multiple lacquer layers respectful of traditional calligraphic accessories.
Wide so easy to hold especially for beginners. The grip is nice too. It has a nice ‘feel’ to it and nicely balanced in the hand.
Cons
The nib holder is very comfortable, but the plastic center part that holds the nibs is far too loose. It won't hold any tachikawa or zebra nibs firmly.

Price
For the value, you can't beat this nib holder!
There are nib holders costing 10x this investment.
Good nib holder for the price point.
I don't know what else i could ask for with this, plus the price is low enough that i don't feel bad getting ink on it.
Shipping
The holder arrived before the estimated delivery date, so i was able to start on my drawings.
My holder did arrive a bit damaged, but it seemed like it was just pressure from something en route.
Competitiveness
I don't have many other nib holders to compare with except for a speedball nib holder.
The wooden parts of the nib holder are actually quite sturdy, but also quite wide compared to most other nib holders on the market.
