First let me tell you i initially purchased a rockwell saw of same type at my local canadian tire store which had their saw on sale for 100

It actually scared me of the severe consequences that could have happened had the blade come off entirely

So needless to say i was not overly impressed with the rockwell 4 12 circular saw its lack of power and it felt cheap with all its plastic

The kerf on the supplied rockwell saw is very thin causing it to bind easily as well when trying to cut straight

However with that said i prefer the sound of the motor and its power compared to the rockwell with all its plastic on it which felt very cheap which told me it would not be a long lasting tool
