If i have any issues ill update this but im feeling confident that as long as its not plugged straight into a wall not an extension cord and a good sharp blade is kept on it itll hold its own but cutting hardwoods with a full blade is going to overwork that motor as well as using an extension cord that is too small of a gauged wire that the saw doesnt get the proper amps it needs the motor is going to burn up
