The transition from 1000 3000 is better and now i also have an 8000 grit to really finish off my knives its a whetstone it sharpens blades it does it well
Very nice bit of kit if you are into cooking then keep your knives sharp and this is the right tool to do that it’s works and my knives are very sharp now it does what you want from it
