Pros & Cons
Pros
The 2000 grit side is where you actually start sharpening and honing the edge. Rough side to give dull knives new edge to finishing them off with finer side. Great for quickly removing material to repair chipped blades.
Cons
Im feel disappoint about this product.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use, great construction, my only negative is it was a little on the small side for a standard sized 8"-10" chef knife.
Good stone and with time will make you knife sharp enough to shave.
This whetstone acts like a normal grinding stone.

Shipping
I can't tell if it shipped like that or it was thrown/dropped upon delivery.
Competitiveness
Gritw seem a bit coarswer than advertised, the king brand stones seem better to me.

The printed logo is somewhat annoying as it will catch the edge but it wears off after a number of uses

A lot of the material from the 600 side comes off during a sharpening

This is supposed to happen because the stone material that comes off is what grinds the knife blade down
