Third reeditafter the first two reviews that were misleads based on what i think the 34true34 quirk is1st very directional sealing2ndjust doesnt hold pressure reliablynow i believe the true 34issue34 is that i wasnt using a pneumatic system with slightly atomized compressor oil in the tankthe orings inside these valves only work when a small amount of an oil is soaking themwhen i used a hydrocarbon lpg variant through them it leached out the natural rubber oils and damaged one when i passed liquid butane through it during shutoffonce i noticed a benefit from dipping the rubber parts into an oil and giving a light rinse after i tried oiling one that was leaking pure filtered water at a rate well above anything you would 34ignore34 till you had money to replace the faulty valve it stopped leaking at alli used olive oil cause it was the only nonspraycan oil i had handy and so in a few months a good clean and reoil will be needed if not before then i urge consumers and the manufacturer to point out the need for oiling the seals occasionally in nonpneumatic with compressor oil scenariosthis might be a cause of bad reviews on a lot of valves for pneumatic use as they tend to use bunan orings that benefit from an atomic level of oil in the gas stream and will suffer pressure sealing issues if a chemical that might wash away oils is usedoil them occasionally and the seals will praise you neglect them and they will flood your home or fill it with explosive levels of lpg gases or soak your beams till they rot awayhappy diy part shopping future consumer reading this
