Pros

I love that the drinking spout is plastic and not aluminum because it grosses me out. Well insulated. Since it's insulated it is heavier than a single steel wall canteen.

The color selection of takeya is fantastic. This bottle is awesome and for the price you can't go wrong.

The color is exactly as expected - a really nice dark blue hue. This is definitely taller than your average water bottle, but the color makes up for it. Perfect in the 24 ounce size.

Cons

Manufacturer claims it's not a manufacturing defect but misuse and not covered by warranty. It was shipped only in a bubble mailer and not in a box, so i'm unsure whether it was damage from shipping or a manufacturer's flaw.

Both leak. The coldness is very brief and then your liquid is room temperature. The soap smell never goes off from the bottle how much i rinse it off. Stick to the quality brands of hydroflask or yeti.

I have bought one for each of my family members, great water bottle, durable, easy to clean.

I have had them for years ( probably 5 or 6 now) and they are insanely durable, and truly keep your drink cold!

It doesn’t make, and it stays cold for real long time.

I’ve tried washing the gaskets with different products, but nothing removes the smell.

Price

It is a little pricey, however it’s really good quality.

Competitiveness

On top of all of this, it is a good price point compared to many other brands like yeti, hydroflask, or stanley.

I guess we will have to try a different brand water bottle.
