Pros

Bottle has wide mouth for adding ice and easy to clean. Spout mouthpiece is also amazing for people who don't want to dump water all over their face when they * water.

Great as a thermos or just a water bottle. I love takeya, they make the best thermic water bottles. They rhyme with task!

Rubber on the bottom keeps it from clanging. Only downside is it doesn't easily fit in my car cup holder. Bought more, some straw lids, some cap lids.

Cons

The only redeeming feature is that the lid doesn't leak. It leaks everywhere. To put cap on is difficult and it leaks.

This one is trash. The second is even worse. Not a durable product. Also "mint" color isn't to my liking. What a disappointment.

After a week of use there was mold in this water bottle. The cover gets moldy and very hard to clean if you can. It has old growing in the grooves of the mouthpiece in several places. On the floor and dent.

Overall, i'm very happy with the quality of my takeya actives 24 oz water bottle.

The lid also has a rubber grip insert along the center with the takeya name on it.

And i am not having any issues with the lid anyway.

Price

But even at $24 shipped, it's a very good price.

Well worth the price in my opinion.

Hydroflask is close to yeti and about 20% cheaper.

These days, the double-walled insulated water bottle technology is pretty even, in the price range of $20 ~ $40.

Packaging/appearance

Looks great, easy to drink out of without drips.

Even when i remove the bottom piece, it doesn’t fit properly.

The only reason i’m buying a second one is because i dropped the one i had and the mouth bent, so the lid wasn’t going on properly.

So, you bend it out of the way enough, it kind of soft-locks into place.

Competitiveness

But at the list price, not that this suddenly gets worse, but there are so many more comparable products.

Without the boot, the bottle can be tipped over a little more easily than on the older models.

For the discounted price i got this at, i would say a no-brainer recommendation.

Maybe i’ll buy another 24oz in a color to use for iced coffee.
