Pros & Cons
Pros
Bottom of strainer is solid so it's somewhat more of a bother to rinse out. Filter that comes with it is very sturdy and doesn't clog as long as you give it a quick rinse after using.
Takeya cold brew iced tea pitcher is easy to use. It fits on the door of my refrigerator and brews a 64 oz pitcher of iced tea, in 8 hours or overnight, using loose tea or tea bags. It has a tea brewer strainer for when i want to make icedtea during t... Read More
Add liquid from drip cup to brewed beverage. No problems with leaks in the first few weeks. No liquid drips out. Had heart palpitations all day.
I keep cold water always ready by chilling it in a rubbermaid leakproof 2 qt hour glass shaped carafe. Add either ice, cold water, or fresh water and refrigerate.
All you do add tea leaves (i prefer loose leaf) to the strainer.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
Sturdy, easy to clean, and fit into side of fridge easily.
The quality at least isnt shoddy, which is rare these days.
It doesn’t leak and it’s simple to put together and take apart when needed.
In a few hours, the remaining leaves dry and fall onto the plate.
Price
This has saved me lots of $$, a i used to go through fast food drive thru's for iced tea all the time at anywhere from $1.
The only thing i'm dissatisfied with is the price.
I found them on some kind of ridiculous sale price and bought 6.
Probably paid or itself 10 over or more and still going strong.
Shipping
It was delivered on time and is a good value for the money.
Packaging/appearance
The container warped to an oval shape at the bottom once i poured hot water in it.
Competitiveness
I had a tea maker almost identical to this one that i had bought about 10 years ago at teavana.
