The cells in the pack are in a blue shrinkwrap from which the specs have been wiped with some solvent presumably to obscure the fact that the cells are not 3000mah as advertised

After removing the short circuit i could not get any output until i read the datasheet of the battery protection chip and discovered that the cure for overcurrent shutdown is to plug in the charger briefly
