Pros
The device is great quality, and charged while outputting 12v. It still charges while the cb is squelched but otherwise receiving. Charges from a wall outlet or from my car with adapter cable.
The paxcess battery is a portable brick of power. It seems to store much more energy than i expected. The device is well constructed, appears durable, and certainly has the power. No worries about overheating.
Kind of a life-changer for $80. Tech support is very responsive. Great battery life. Fantastic value for money.
No more candles and smelly oil lights in power outage. Easily lasted the whole night with out the humidifier. Just ordered another one to use as a backup for our internet gateway.
Get 2-3 nights on my cpap without humidifier. Can run cpap machine (w/out humidifier) for 3 nights. Bought it to use with a cpap during power outages.
Cons
I seriously doubt this tiny 5v converter can deliver more than 1 amp. Please, don't endure your restless night and don’t buy this thing.

Without it, every little power outage, no matter how brief causes us to lose internet for at least five minutes while the gateway reboots.

Competitiveness
Purchased this instead of the 600 dollar cpap specific battery from phillips.
It also works as an uninterupted power supply (ups) because it can be plugged into the wall and the cpap at the same time.
You will need the alternate cable for philips respironics.
