Pros
After using thermal underwear for years, these are my first down pants. Not terribly uncomfortable. Probably could go commando underneath and still be warm.
The fit is perfect with the length going right down past the ankle but not too long where it bunches up. Other than sizing no problems. The xl fits comfortably.
The waist is a tiny bit snug, but not as bad as when you wear a pair of awful tights. The elastic band in the waist make these about as tight as you would want to go at this weight. The only complaint i have is that the clasp for the waist drawstring ... Read More
I mainly use them to walk our dog on frosty mornings, when the temperature drops below 20 f. Perfect for long dog walks in sub freezing temperatures. A great problem to have in below freezing temps.
Cons
The fabric over the feathers is thin. When choosing waist size they are too small. The elastic sliding up to your waist pulls the pants up.

For reference i'm 6 ft tall around 185 and i got xl and feel i probably would have been happier with the regular large.

Only gave 4 stars because the first pair had a hole in the pocket.

I wear a xxl and thought i would be good ordering a xxxl so i could wear a thin inner layer.
