Heavy enough to persuade stubborn flooring tight. It's very sturdy, except on issue with the handle. Seems like the screws that screw the handle to the block and get somewhat loose sometimes.

Block tapper taps blocks well. There are quite a few videos on youtube that show how to use this block to ensure the locking system of the long edge of the plank is fully engaged. This tapping block is the best one i have ever encountered.
