Pros

The fan is inexpensive and easily repairable. Replacement fans are available on amazon for about $7 if you are handy with a soldering iron. Does exactly what it says it will. But not a deal breaker.

Powered via a usb cable (included). And it has a mini-usb connector, which is correct for a peripheral. Only gripe is that it does not have usb-c ports for powering it. But when i turn on the cooler, it gets back to normal!

Cons

The power connector is mini usb, not typec, not micro usb, mini. This was advertised as dual fans but had only a single fan. I don't understand how a good company like targus will knowingly make a product like this.

Using it right out of the sealed box and fan is really loud and rattles.

Cooling pad with one fan in the center works better than this. It also has some loose screw or piece of plastic that rattled inside. Nubs on the bottom that quite painfully press into your legs if you decide to actually place the laptop with the coole... Read More
