Pros

Awesome case at a awesome price. Well constructed and decent price. Good interior space without being too loose or too light.

Tons of room for a 17 inch notebook and a partition for adjusting the main compartment. It is well padded & provides ample protection for the laptop. Bought for a 15 inch notebook with the expectation of it accomadating additional accessories.

Strap is long enough to sling it over my shoulder. Metal clasps on the carry strap. Tough, rugged and easy on the shoulders.

Has a lot of compartments. Has useful slip-in mesh containers for accessories. Lots of pockets to arrange computer cables, files, etc.

Cons

Product is not as advertised on the targus website (txl417). Very disappointed in overall quality, very little padding for the computer. The heavier the load in the bag, the more likely the handle is to stay together (good), but the more likely you ar... Read More

Got lots of other storage space, and the handles and shoulder straps are sturdy.

I've always known targus to make high quality laptop bags.

What i especially like is the metal clasps on the carry strap.
