The tripod is well made and easy to adjust.
The body of this is made of solid materials.
I don't like the plastic parts and wish it there was more metal--i fear they will dry rot one day and render the stand useless.

Definitely a good solid tripod at a reasonable price.
Three cheers for the inexpensive, built-like-a-tank tripod!
But for what you're paying, it's nice enough for your needs.

For example, i added a phone mount to this stand, and it worked well as a mini desktop tripod.
I have the manfrotto light stand of similar design, and this one is a little lighter.
