Highlights
Quality
No complaint for quality of pole itself, so i revised rating to 5.
Very well made and easy to extend and retract as well as lock into place.
These have twice the wall thickness in material of the last set of poles i thought would last in high winds.
These are made with a hard plastic/polymer substance with the bottom covered with a rubber bottom.
Price
They're a great value for the price, and i'm confident that they'll provide years of reliable service.
I was originally thinking these were on the expensive side but using these and seeing how good they work changed my mind.
99 these are an excellent value & worth every penny.
If you catch these on sale, like right now $43.

They sent me another set of product for free of charge, and really quick.
Packaging/appearance
Everything wrapped up well in plastic bags.
This is not a replacement "packable" tent pole but more for larger tarp or event tent.
It didn't rain a drop during my recent trip so i didn't notice any dirt on these poles when i packed them up and they closed very easily.
Collapses down nicely and though i would not consider it packable for home or out of car use its perfection.
Competitiveness
I've had a few different tarp pole setups in the past and these are by far the best ones i've used yet.
These are as good as the best on the market!
They feel a lot like the camera tripods and monopods you see from similar sorts of random brands.
They're similar to other extendable tarp poles i have, but these have a nicer painted coating opposed to the anodizing on my ot... Read More

They are relatively lightweight and are expandable the same way that trekking poles are with swing locks instead of the fixed positions of sectionals or the button lock types
