Bought this dryer for my home salon studio. I haven't quite figured that out yet, but that’ll come with time and use. She says this replacement is perfect.
Cons
Not durable, the adjustment stand keeps breaking. Now i have to buy a new hooded dryer, but it will definitely not be a tasalon.

There is a little switch that turns a plastic piece inside the hood between the vent holes and the inside of the dryersupposedly to enable you to adjust the air flow
