On a shoot i have accidentally fully submerged the device in salt water while it was recording and it continues to run with no impairment to the audio quality after cleaning out the salt residue and resetting it

I have also accidentally thrown it down a concrete staircase watching in horror as the batteries exploded onto the ground

If you record a long session over an hour it is best if you download the file before doing another session

I speak my notes into this machine then use voice transcription software to put my notes into word documents
