The dr-10l is a capable tool. My biggest goal for this setup is light, fast, easy. The super compact size allows me to fit it anywhere.

The included lav mic is surprisingly strong. The mics are also compatible with all my sennheiser me2 mics and accessories. The mic picks up more background than i would like, but it's liveable.

The recording is flawless. I clip it onto the groom and it captures him, his bride, and the officiant. Fantastic for everything from interviews to weddings to cinematic films.

Love being able to shoot without headphones and not have to worry about clipping or rf interference. Low noise preamps. Backup track gives you some leeway in post production.

This is a very expensive device to be so finicky. The fact that the belt clip can't be secured? There's $200 down the drain.
