For starters youll need to goto the tascam website and find the updated software so you can update the units firmware

Most people interested in purchasing this unit probably wont care about that but it seems like there should be more hard buttons and outputs to give the user options for the money

However if you like a little more hard tactile control and are looking for a preamp that can work independent of a computer screen in a pinch you should probably look elsewhere
