Attaches as advertised to flat surfaces my tiles were not a gloss finish and had some contour in them and as such would not remain attached no problem on the glass shower screen though

My only tip would be that before placing each i cleaned the tiles with one fo those wetwipe tissues and so the tile surface was damp when i put the holder on
