Pros & Cons
Cons
Not these. They look the same sealed as not sealed. Wasted my money. Sadly the seals that come with them have a strong chemical taste.
Highlights
Quality
Slightest learning curve in that you don't tighten all the way prior to water bathing, but these have so far worked wonderfully!
Love the no-rust feature of these lids so far, so good.
I got tired of fake kerr or ball canning lids or chinese canning lids failing to made a good seal.
Canned food should last years, not 18 months.
Price
If one is going to empty a jar 2 or 3 times a year then these lids will pay for themselves in short order.
And honestly, the cost is barely higher than disposable lids, so these will save me a lot over the years.
But with lids so expensive i figured i should try them.
Competitiveness
I was turned away from tattler by a relative that went on and on about a learning curve.
