Pros & Cons
Pros
These are a little longer (10-15 yds) than i hit with my pings. Very good distance control.
You get six they are gorgeous and a pleasure to use. Great clubs.
These clubs are lofted stronger than average, with the pitching wedge being 44 degrees, it is basically a 9 iron. These heads are cleanly shaped, easy to line up. Not bulky at set up.
Love the feel and the forgiveness of this set. Easy to hit and very forgiving. My 14-year-old is now enjoying his new speedblades.
These golfclubs are a lot of fun to use for someone with some experience with golf, and not that bad for someone at the novice level. The shafts have a nice feel and flex very well.
Highlights
Quality
Comfortable and set up nicely, feels like quality, would recommend to all players.
If you want really forgiving irons, these are excellent.
And with steel i can still shape shots off of these, even as hard as they try to re-correct ball flight (and they really do!
The aeroburner at a simulator, i was actually hitting the ball further (about 8-10 yds) and straighter than the aeroburner.
Price
This is a great set of irons at a bargain price.
It was a great price for these clubs (less than $500) which were twice this amount less than a year ago.
Doubled checked the info and again they were listed as $99.
The price is not unreasonable for really good clubs and these are an ok value.
Shipping
Clubs arrived quickly and are exactly as advertised.
Placed them in my cart, made a payment and being a prime member, had them at my house 2 days later.
Delivered in less time than what was estimated.
Packaging/appearance
Way nicer looking than my more colorful (blue) amp cells.
Upon opening the taylormade box discovered that the sw was also included in the box.
The look of the taylormade rsi1's fit the profile i was used to, so i hit the rsi1's at my local golf shop before buying.
Competitiveness
I compared these by swinging a nice callaway club then switching to the equivalent rsi1 and consistently shot more accurately and farther.
With a good swing, you will get more distance than with most other clubs.
I would recommend these to a mid to mid high handicapper looking for a premium set of irons, compare these to titleist ap1's.
Even though it is a 55 degree i am only able to get around 90 yards out of it compared to my cleveland rtg which hit around 100... Read More
