The compression liner is great to prevent chafing. This also helps with limiting the number of items i have to launder.
Cons
I'm a 36-38 waist, ordered xl, and pants slide down in the rear when squat. I normal wear a medium in shorts, but these ran loce 2x smaller than suggested. The compression material is crazy itchy and extremely uncomfortable.

Very lightweight and don’t have to pack gym shorts and swim shorts they work as both!
This also helps with limiting the number of items i have to launder.
Great stuff but the zipper could have been better placed!
Inner support is to small even for compression but short are good.

The compression inner pants are great but due to the slightly smaller sizing pulled down the shorts
