Pros & Cons
Cons
It has a bare uncovered 3 pin molex connector at the front that it would be very easy to accidentally short which would fry your pc. Plugged in the ssd to the external sata port and smoke came out.

Make your choice and pay your money
Great value for money my only downfall is my mother board doesnt have a usb 3.
Packaging/appearance
Surprisingly once plugged into my black case it looks smart which i didn't think it would.
Competitiveness
I've never got round to installing a front panel on any pc i've built in the past 25 years so i've got no true comparison.

The instructions are close to non existent and cover several models but if you cant work out which plug goes on which header either on your own or with the aid of the motherboard manual you probably shouldnt be trying to install bits to your towerdesktop pc it would be nice to have the sata leads labbled so you dont have to tie up two sata slots on the mother board if you dont intend using all the features of the front panel my other slight gripe is the headphone speaker jack doesnt seem to have a little lose it works and doesnt come free easily so time will tell

Modern cases can be very restricted beasts with if you are lucky a couple of usb sockets an sd card reader plus mic and speaker connections
