Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Tealyra matcha is not as good as kyotodew but not nearly as pricey. It is not ceremonial grade (i order that from ippodo usually) but who has the money for daily ceremonial. It's good as an ingredient in more complex drinks, as a baking product.

Cons

The color is way too green and smells a bit like a hint mackerel. Return window closes too quickly to rectify.

Quality

This matcha green tea powder is by far the best quality one i have tried.

This is the highest tasting quality matcha that i have ever tasted.

I took a glass measuring cup with 1/2 c water and 1/2 c organic light coconut milk heated it in the microwave to less than 175 ...  Read More

The taste is actually pretty good—i’d call it a “green” taste—but the powder does not suspend/dissolve well.

Price

This is a great everyday matcha for the price.

This is an excellent, inexpensive everyday kind of matcha.

If you’re looking for a good, inexpensive matcha for everyday use or if you’re trying matcha for the first time tealyra could b...  Read More

Amazon does not recognize the discount tealyra attaches to purchases

Shipping

I won't know anybody by name because that's just not nice, but i bought 2 teas in one day through amazon, this and another.

Packaging/appearance

Beautiful, fresh green color & the packaging was great.

I would definitely recommend tealux premium organic matcha green tea powder based on the foil package i received as it's delicious.

Also, it comes in exactly the same packaging pictured, but the name is "tealyra" not "tealux.

Well packaged , good color and texture but it's bitter.

Competitiveness

This tea is delicious and tastes just as good as the more expensive brands.

This is a great tasting matcha, better than any others i've tried, at any price!

I have paid a lot more money for lower quality, such as tevanna for one brand.

You get what you pay for, but this is higher quality than some of the less expensive brands.

That might sound somehow 34bad34 but it really isnt and it wont be an issue for most people

Culinary grade means that it’s good for normal uses like as an ingredient in more complex drinks as a baking product or for making standard thin matcha tea usucha
