The 27-ounce teapot is the perfect size for ease of lifting, pouring and carrying. As for making a great pot of tea it is quite simply wonderful, but i bought this as much for its looks as it’s ability to brew good tea.

It pours beautifully. No drip if you don't overfill, the spout is high enough.

Loved the sturdiness, size, style, weight and portability. The strainer it comes with has very fine mesh so it diffuses well.

The pot holds enough water to steep two large mugs of tea at a time. Tea ends up on the pot and on your saucer or surface. The same gasket assembly comes right out to rewarm tea in microwave if you need to.

The bolt of the lid comes off and falls in the teapot. While i was offered a refund, i was asked to take down my review. I just feel this would be unfair to future buyers.
