These two things have not prevented me from using it.
The lid is permanently attached and cannot be removed … makes it a bit awkward, especially for loading in the dishwasher.

The price is higher than i thought i would have spent, but i'm glad that i did.

In the past id make a mug with tea in a strainer and go one cup at a time

When its ready i pour off a mug and then top the teapot up with hot water and go on my way
