Pros

It's actually faster as an external than it would be as an internal drive because original xbox one consoles only have sata ii, and usb3. The data transfer rates are as advertised. Using them for a nas is completely silent and runs 20 degrees cooler.

Cons

Tested in multiple computers, now reports itself as ps3111 20 meg not initialized. Will not actually access beyond this information, and definitely will not even format the 20 megs. My regular hdd's are faster.

The only way to use the drive is to disconnect my team group branded internal drive.

This is a poor ssd and while the price tag looks good, buyer beware. Took forever to respond then followed with nonsense. Just give me an replacement instead of these nonsense.

The warranty seems to only be valid for customers in taiwan. Get an rma (return merchandise authorization) address. It's not worth the failure risk, the long rma response time and the unnecessary down time. The warranty is essentially useless!

Didn't think to check first so i installed the drive, booted up and the drive was not listed.

Install and format , replacing old tape drive for storage, tapes now only jpeg backup

The price is amazing for a 1tb drive.

This ssd was low priced for the amount of data storage and seems to function well.

Great price for 2 of these at 1tb each.

Solid sata ssd more on the budget side but worth it.

Competitiveness

I normally won't use anything other than samsung or crucial for an ssd, but as it's a games consoles i considered it less mission critical.

I tested this with gparted then did f3write/f3read, and f3probe tests.
