Some quick testing on a usb 3. With the drive using fat32formatting. Needed usb to transfer all from prior laptop into new laptop. Takes the place of the disk they used to give you 100 years ago to reinstall windows.
I already have sandisk extreme, kingston data traveller and also had buffalo ssd put that i sold. These are good for smaller file transfers, or for os installs.
Cons
Too late for me to get a refund. Id steer for a more reliable brand if you care about using them often. I'm convinced these are a rip off.

My use case is mostly "burning" an os image to the drive, then booting a computer from it and installing the os.
Never even had to remove or reinstall it.
Price
As long as you understand this, the drives are good (so far) and will certainly meet my needs for this low price point.
Your paying for two 128 gb sticks and you get two 128 gb sticks.

Trouble free except for one 512gb that failed but amazon sent me a replacement.
Competitiveness
Wish i could say the same about some of the premium brand stuff i used to blindly depend on (sandisk, western digital, etc).

I didnt think much of this freebie usb drive as i typically use the samsung 400mbs usbc mini drives
