Moccamaster is fantastic. The coffee is outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

The engineering of the technivorm is spot on; ergo, the 5 year warranty. The longevity of this system alone is a testament to its quality.

The copper coil in the moccamaster is key to fast heating and probably an expensive item. There are two settings for the hot plate; one is higher than the other. Otherwise the temp is perfect and the carafe holds the temp well.

Disclaimer: this machine is worth the price.

Close your eyes at the price and buy it.

For a machine so costly, this should not be the case.

Sure i paid half the price for the bunn, but now it's in the refuse heap because i had to repair a piece that you cannot get to.

Shipping

I was satisfied with how quick (3 or 4 days) my coffee maker delivered and apparently nothing had been damaged.

Called company and they had a replacement one sent out immediately.

Packaging/appearance

It looks great on my counter, makes amazing coffee, and it's a real joy to use it every morning.

It also looks even better than i expected on my counter.

Competitiveness

I've had several other brewers and none came close to the moccamaster.

It is actually a bit faster than previous makers.

Otherwise the temp is perfect and the carafe holds the temp well - much better than bonavita.
