Pros

It makes a tasty cup of coffee everytime. Easy to make, easy to clean, delicious coffee every time. Best coffee maker i've ever used.

Technivorm makes the finest brewer. Easy to load and brew, cleanup is super easy too.

Technivorm coffee makers are amazing and worth every penny. Chemex, aeropress, and flair-espresso maker are some of my favorite techniques. Tl;dr buy this machine, make good coffee.

It helps that i put grounds in the filter before putting it into the basket; reducing chances of spillage. To avoid drips when throwing out the used grounds, tilt the funnel slightly to the side. Just dump the old filter from the cone and rinse.

Cons

Single cup brewer has two major design flaws. It blasts water straight down into the center of the grounds, wasting 70% of coffee. Water overflows the #1 paper filter if you try to use a finer grind. Brew basket routinely clogs up and overflows.

Well made for a long life, and replacement parts to keep this little guy running for decades are available through moccamaster.

No fuss no muss, easy to use, makes a cup quickly, and is warranted for 5 years if bought new.

-discard coffee grounds and rinse the brewer basket after every use in the sink.

The hole in the basket where the coffee drips out of is about 1/16" which is pretty absurd.

Price

Bought it on prime day so was particularly worth it!

If anything goes wrong with them, the manufacturer charges a minimal fee and will fix it for you and send it back to you.

They cost more but trust me they are worth it.

I waited for prime day since the machine is pricey.

I called the customer service immediately and the agent said to wet the paper filter before putting the coffee in the brew basket.

Packaging/appearance

This item came perfectly packaged with well-written operating instructions that you must read before making your first cup of coffee.

I even found an insulated (think padded and zippered) grocery tote that is the perfect carry bag.

Also in the packaging there is a miniature bristle brush to clean out the hole in the brew basket.
