This adapter does indeed work well for an appletv if you need it to connect to a display with a vga input

It kept telling me that it needed a different resolution at a different frequency

When i went to try and change it to the settings it wanted they werent available in the list

I was eventually able to get it to mirror the internal display but it still wasnt a resolution that looked right

I also tried it on a newer 169 lenovo display and it still had problems

It would display an image but it had a floating box saying that it also needed a different resolution and frequency
