Pros
It comes with double sided sticky pad to stick the transmitter to glass or door frame. Easy to install with the adhesion sticker on the back. Bit of an odd combination, but not impractical.
Nokia ringtone has 60 different tones to choose from. From titanic soundtrack to bella ciao and nokia ringtone, the volume is adjustable. The ringtone and volume are on the same side, and you can also use the flash led as a night light.
The volume is loud enough to hear from corner room upstairs.
The technet doorbell has a nightlight and motion sensor. Simple to switch the light on the receiver to the 'off' position with the slider control. The induction between the doorbell and receiver is sensitive.
Cons
Just being fitted in place seems to hamper the operation. Sent back to amazon, so tired of shoddy goods. Product is faulty, and there seems no way to contact tecknik to tell them.
Tried ringer in different plug sockets (all within a few metres of the button) and absolutely nothing.

I managed to install it myself and was delighted with the loud ring.
Sensor works great when you walk past.
Although on this occasion, i did change my mind on this product.
It just looked odd, although didnt affect the function of the product in anyway whatsoever.
Price
Easy - waterproof- good volume - good price.
Wasn't expecting a choice of that capacity anyway!
Packaging/appearance
No complication whatsoever in screwing to wooden door frame then just plugging the reciever into an available wall socket.
The receiver unit is loud enough for my very hard of hearing mother in the annexe.
Competitiveness
The transmitter is slim and operating on a cr2032 button battery - included and installed.
I'm always a fan of tecknet offerings, and am not disappointed.

As soon as i arrived i opened the bowl i removed the tab to attach the switch to the outside using the adhesive that comes supplied

The bell itself plugs in the wall socket and thats it

The upside is the sensor works regardless of whether you using it as a doorbell however while there is a button for volume and chime there is no button to switch off the sensor
