Tried the motion detection which was good

As i am often up through the night for the toilet i often can not see him in the dark and if i stand on him or lick him he reacts ferrouciously and snaps at my feet i have pluged this item into a bedside socket and as soon as i move my leg out of bed it lights up immediately it switches off after 25 seconds and when i return from the toilet it switches on again so i can see and avoid the dog while returning to bed

My criticism is that the sensor does not seem to detect motion from the sides so does not pick up motion from 3 of our 4 bedrooms until you actually reach it

Like the brightness dislike you have to stand almost in front of it so it can detect the motion
