I took out box and sat them out side for few days to give them a good charge then put them up at night and put on mode 3, where it's a bright sensor light goes off for about 10-15 seconds it's brilliant av bought 2 but just put up the 1 the now where it's pitch black and can't see up back garden and light goes off now when my dog goes up the back so happy with it will buy more .  Read Less
