The units do not have an onoff switch but are activated solely from the integrated motion sensor

It does however sometimes take a while to detect some sort of motion or requires you to come back to it after a while for it to then operate as normal

When dark the light switches on and illuminates the lock and stays on while you are moving about then switches off after about 15 seconds if it does not detect movement

They remain lit as long as there is motion detected otherwise they will turn off after 16 seconds

I previously had the mr beams motion activated led night lights but i have found them to be temperamental and turning on when there is no way any motion could be detected they also take 4 aaa batteries which i am having to replace 23 times a year and they retail at £23

Whereas the tecknet ones only require 3 aaa batteries not included and the lights are more diffused over a 132 x 7mm aperture
