This little brolly weighs just over 450g and is just over 31cm in length and 5cm in diameter when folded

Having taken it out of its bag and unpopped the strap that holds it tightly folded one press of the button built into the handle sees it pop up into shape

At the same time the design of the vents is such as to prevent water ingress

However the upper fabric overlaps the vents by quite some distance and the vents themselves appear very tight meaning that strong gusts of wind are unlikely to be able to escape

I simulated such a gust by sharply pulling the open umbrella back towards me and it folded inside out

So whilst the design might work ok in normal wind conditions i wouldn’t recommend the umbrella for use when the windsgusts are stronger
