The pre set smoothie button works well for soft fruit. Great for making soups (my last plastic one cracked with the heat) and crushing ice/making cocktails.
It's a monster of a blender it blends everything i can find my my freezer with ease. No lumps or chunks of ice the quad blades do an awesome job blending.
Cons
The jar is very long, and not very comfortable to clean. The blending throws things upwards in the jar, since jar is long it is difficult to put everything back to bottom using the spatula. Breaks and ordering replacement parts are difficult as tefal ... Read More

I regularly use it for grinding dried oats into powder which it does ok but needs attention using supplied spatula through hole in the lid to move unground oats from the edge into the centre
