Yes there is an indicator to let you know that you are at the right temperature but i think this is all a bit unnecessary and gimmicky

The heat indicator however is a little different to the usual red on black setup this one is a little difficult to tell when its ready without constantly referring to the instructions either way you get a feel for when its ready so not the worst issue

I was a little confused as to why this is just for veg i can only assume that its due to people not wanting any cross contamination given the continued growth of vegetarianism and veganism and in the same trend that chopping boards have colour codes i reckon this makes sense enough

The pan has a large diameter larger than any of all my other pans so the fact that it doesnt come with a lid of its own is an unsolvable problem
