As for the rest; the build quality is excellent, the cord is long enough and the iron feels to be a decent weight.
I don't have any delicates, but it ironed all my shirts fine with the steam function great for those stubborn shirt creases.
Good quality smart iron which i particularly like because there are no fiddly settings to alter.
Price
It is ideal for somebody not used to doing a lot of ironing and at the price represents good value for money.
Great product good price easy to use as do not need to set temperature
Packaging/appearance
I must mention the packaging, which is a lesson in minimalism.

Competitiveness
However i find it glides less smoothly than my other tefal with a stainless steel base.
The physical design of the iron has been given equal attention and it glides across fabric thanks to its durilium soleplate.
Ease of use===========the design has a part to play.
I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the length of the cable - it's almost 1 metre shorter than my previous tefal iron!

The cost of this model in relation to those you have to stand and mess about adjusting dials and knobs to get the right formulation before you burn or scorch your clothes is not all that expensive when compared in a like near to like with a dial model

We currently have a braun texstyle model which is very good but does not have smart technology which automatically raises or lowers the temperature depending on what pops up next in the ironing pile

It seems to work out what you are ironing so you dont have a temperature dial and can iron a pile of clothes without having to change the temperature

The iron has none of the dials normally associated with any iron where temperature must be selected carefully for the fabric

I cant find a lot wrong with this iron and it really made ironing a pile of clothes stress free as i wasnt having to think about whether i was using the right heat setting i could just get on with it
