It isn't lightweight in the flimsy sense and i chose tefal as i love their reliability. A little heavier than my old iron but still enjoy using it.

This is a n upgrade purchase as my last tefal iron saw the end of its day. Truly like the aston martin of irons.

I clean after each time i iron (quick rinse of the limescale collector takes 10 seconds) and not seeing any hint of the usual gunk i would see around now. Irons my clothes perfectly. Glides smoothly over most fabrics.

No spillage from water compartment. Easy to use and has a beautifully pointy end. Only downside is it seems to get through the steam very quickly so you need to listen out for the lack of steam noise and refill regularly.

Temperature control lever, which is not in dial form, is flimsy and very stiff. The temperature control lever catches on the knuckles. The spray button is under the handle which activates at slightest touch.
