On the base there is the main onoff button and an “ok” which flashes until the desired temperature is reached and once attained remains constant

On the side of the tank is a red cap for the calcscale collector which is unscrewed and simply washed under the tap

The unit is designed to operate with standard tap water and does not need any special arrangements unless you are in an area of very hard water then a 5050 mixture of tap and distilled water will be fine
