Although a good tool for the kitchen you wouldnt get it out for just one onion or carrot

However cleaning can be arduous separate hand washing for the lid and blades although the body can go in the dishwasher

I was not convinced about this until i tried it as i have tried different variations of this type of device in the past and they were pretty useless

Upon dicing an onion it took me about 3 pulls on the cord and it was diced in seconds

The blade mechanism is well designed but it is quite fiddly to store between use

The lid always get dirty obviously because chopped food touches the button but it cannot really be washed properly or submerged in water as the pull mechanism is built in so you can only lightly clean it i dont like that part
