I used to have a george foreman, its grill plates were not removable and you could not vary the heat settings.
So we bought this a few months ago now and to basically switched to manual mode by the second day of use.
Competitiveness
It is worth 5 stars , but the newer model (tefal gc713) is slightly better and 10 pounds cheaper on amazon.
Although it is a bit more expensive than the previous grill, it's uses and quality far outway the difference in cost.

Afterwards all you need to do is clip the grill plates off and shove them straight in the dishwasher

I havent had any problems in terms of overcooked food i do find that sometimes we will find 1 or 2 pieces of chicken slightly undercooked this is because we use chicken pieces with bones it does state in the manual that this works best for boneless food with same level of thickness

Its very easy to clean and i find that the food doesnt stick as maybe on a pan
