Because the quality is there for sure.
Overall i am extremely pleased with it.
However, i was a little disappointed with the instructions.
With this product, you can do what you can do in 30 minutes with normal power in less than 10 minutes, using less power.
Price
Overall, this is an excellent iron, which you would expect given the price.
It's well worth the price for sure.
Competitiveness
It's great for getting out difficult creases, though i do find using it a bit of a faff compared to a standard iron.
Shirts; linen clothing and i love freshly ironed bedding which is a real faff given that i have a superking sized bed.

This new version has had a couple of tweaks to it that i think are inferior one being the water tank which now you pull the whole tank out to refill whereas previously you just poured water into it the other niggle is the cord storage on the old iron it was very robust but now this iron the plastic storage area feels thinner so we don’t use it

My current tefal iron finally gave up after about 78 years i searched for a replacement and couldn’t find one exactly the same it appears that the new tefal irons aren’t made with a retractable power cord
