This pole is made of lightweight, durable aluminum and the hooks are durable plastic. It's lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, which gives me confidence when maneuvering my boat.
Cons
The pivot pins on the locking devices are steel and quickly rusted heavily. It's a clever design, but the execution, especially the choice of metals does not work well with the ocean environment.
