Pros
Suction is strong and doesn't budge. Adjustment is easy and strong when you tighten the clamp. The suction cup is sturdy. It is very sturdy when tightened.
Cons
The locking screw that came with the suction mount is to short to lock in the mounting adapter. Either this is a manufacturer defect or the engineering is very poor.

It’s a pretty solid contraption, unfortunately it didn’t work with my 2015 hyundai elantra and had to return it.
Competitiveness
In comparison to the other ones i've seen i think it's sturdy and good value for the price.
I was originally looking at another brand that uses a "proprietary" clamp to affix the gopro on.

I did notice that when left suctioned in place over night it eventually releases but im in a very cold climate and im sure thats a factor

I was hoping that the cup itself would be the sticky silicon type material but instead it is a semi soft rubber that sticks anyways

While it is still fully functional the amount of suction is drastically reduced as removing it now provides much less effort
