Fairly stable, not the best solution. The wider the straps, the more stable it becomes. Brilliant bit of kit. Fits nice and tight on my dakine backpack straps.

Itself is a good camera holder but unless you have got the backpack strap square on the camera will point to the side.

I bought this so that i wasn’t always holding the gopro and so that it would be out of my bag so i’d be more likely to use it

I knew it would be a bit unstable but that is due to the width of the straps on the backpack
